Biography:
Dr. Wilson is originally from Wichita, Kansas, but moved to Tulsa in 2006 at attend the University of Tulsa. He graduated magna Cum Laude in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science and a minor in chemistry. He was also honored as a University of Tulsa Top Ten Freshman and Top Ten Senior during his time there. In 2014, he graduated medical school from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then returned to Tulsa for residency training in obstetrics and gynecology and graduated from the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa program in June of 2018.
When asked why he chose OB/GYN, he said "I enjoyed every clinical rotation in medical school, but surprisingly the one I missed the most after leaving was OB/GYN. I loved surgery, but after a surgeon's work with a patient is completed, they return to their primary care doctor. I wanted a continuity of care. I get to work with my patients for their entire life. At the same time, I get to be a surgeon and operate, something I truly enjoy."
