Rehabilitation Department: Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapy
Our Rehabilitation Department consists of physical, occupation, and speech therapy programs. We provide care for inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed programs, permitting us to maintain an excellent level of continuity of care.
The Rehabilitation Department provides a wide variety of services including:

PHYSICAL THERAPY:
Our highly trained Physical Therapy staff uses a variety of modalities and equipment to restore function, improve mobility, and promote a patient's return to the highest level of activity possible. We develop individualized treatment plans to assess strength and flexibility, pain relief, post-surgical recovery, functional mobility, balance, and endurance.
Modalities such as heat/cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, and manual techniques, in combination with a multitude of helpful exercises, are used to increase the level of fitness and rehabilitation in our patients.

Our highly trained Occupational Therapy staff assists individuals in developing and relearning the necessary skills needed to perform everyday activities. these skills may include physical, cognitive, and visual-perceptual abilities to perform self-care and home management. More advanced skills to function effectively in work, school, and the community are also offered.
We create individualized treatment programs to assist individuals with injuries, physical challenges, or developmental disabilities, so patients can leave our care better equipped to live daily lives more capably and comfortably.

SPEECH THERAPY:
Our Speech Therapy program focuses on human communication and swallowing disorders. Our Speech-Language Pathologist assists our patients by designing a personalized treatment program to assist them in relearning speech, communication, swallowing, problem-solving, and memory retention skills. These conditions can be developmental or just occur after an illness, injury, or surgery.
